Recipe : Crispy Chilly Chicken

This wonderful, easy to cook Chilly Chicken is the first dish I ever cooked by myself . It is easier than what it seems, It has very basic steps including marinating the chicken in a self-made sauce for a few hours and then frying it.
Here are the ingredients and the step by step instructions.

Yields: 500 grams of chicken serves 4



Ingredients

  • 500 grams Chicken, Boneless
  • 3 tbsp Soya Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Agi-no-motto
  • 1 tsp Garlic, Crushed
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger, Crushed
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Chilly Powder
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3 Tbsp Cornflour
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tbsp Celery
  • 1 tbsp Garlic, Chopped
  • 2 Spring onions, Sliced
  • Half Capsicum, Cut into strips
  • 3-4 Green chillies, Sliced

Instructions







  • In a bowl, mix 3 tbsp Soya Sauce, 1 tbsp Vinegar, 1tsp Chilly Powder, 1/2 tsp Crushed Garlic, 1/2 tsp Crushed Ginger, 1/2 Tsp Agi-no-motto, 1/2 tsp Sugar and Salt to taste.
  • Wash the Boneless chicken and cut into strips.
  • Put the Chicken strips into the sauce and mix well.
  • Keep the marinated Chicken in the fridge for 4-5 hours.
  • After 4-5 hours, In a bowl, Take 2 Eggs, add 3 tbsp Cornflour, salt, 1 tsp Black pepper and mix well
  • Add the chicken pieces into the batter for about 1/2 an hour. Make sure that there is the marinating sauce remaining.
  • Deep Fry the chicken pieces in hot oil.
  • In a pan, heat 3 tbsp oil. Add 1 tbsp celery, 1tbsp chopped garlic and 2 sliced spring onions and fry.
  • Add the fried chicken pieces and mix.
  • In the pan, add a little water, salt and the remaining marinating sauce. If in case there is none, then you can just mix 1 tbsp soya sauce, 1/2 tsp agi-no-motto, salt and add it to the pan.
  • Give it a boil or two.
  • Cut the Capsicum into strips and slice 3-4 green chillies and add.
  • Dissolve 2 tbsp Cornflour in water and add
  • Put spring onion leaves and cover and cook for 2-3 minute
  • Before serving decorate with spring onions leaves and serve hot.
